T. Rowe Price Global Growth Stock (RPGEX)
From The No-Load Fund Investor

T. Rowe Price has long been known for its expertise in growth stock investing. The firm also offers a seemingly ever expanding roster of global and international equity funds, some with broad regional and sector mandates and others narrowly centered on specific regions, countries or sectors.

T. Rowe Price Global Growth Stock (RPGEX) has been managed since late 2008 by Scott Berg. Though the fund possesses a good long-term record—up 10.2% a year over the past five years, earning it a place among the top quintile among Morningstar’s World Large Stock category—it has only slightly more than $100 million in assets. That’s likely due to many factors, including the likelihood that it gets lost among the high number of international and global funds in Price’s lineup, but also to lumpy performance and middling total returns in each of 2015 and 2016.

However, the fund is performing strongly so far this year, with a 14.1% gain through April 30, and it certainly has a sound investing strategy and a good team behind it.

The biggest advantage at Price is its expertise in growth stocks, so most of our actively-managed Price selections are from this style. As growth has beaten value so handily so far this year, our Price models have had the advantage.
