Our Emerging Markets Timer has popped back to a positive reading (its fifth change of signal in June), leaving us with a new buy signal. We always take these whipsaw changes seriously, but also take the longer-term trend of the market into account, which keeps us from jumping either into or out of the market completely. It seems to be working, because our stocks are generally acting well. Today, we’re welcoming an old friend back into the portfolio.
