Cabot Benjamin Graham Value Investor Special Bulletin

Stronger than expected results have caused my Min Sell Price for August to rise, so hold your shares until the stock price rises to the new Min Sell Price.

Apple (AAPL 150.05) surprised investors with stellar growth in the quarter ended June 30. iPhone sales remained steady, ahead of the company’s new phone launch this fall. Surprisingly, iPad and Mac sales perked up after several quarters of lackluster growth.

Apple sales rose 7.2% from a year ago, and EPS climbed 10.6% to $1.57 from $1.42 during the quarter. The stronger than expected results have caused my Min Sell Price for August to rise to 178.71 from 163.22. Do not sell Apple if its stock price rises to 163.22. Hold your AAPL shares until the stock price rises to the new Min Sell Price of 178.71.
