Cabot ETF Investing System Aims to Beat the S&P by 10 Percentage Points Annually
Salem, MA—Cabot Heritage Corp., publisher of investment advisories for individuals and investment professionals since 1970, announced today the debut of its newest advisory, Cabot ETF Investing System. The Charter Issue will be published on September 13, 2011.
Cabot ETF Investing System will be edited by analyst Robin Carpenter. The easy-to-follow system identifies sectors positioned to outperform the overall market and applies a market-timing component to avoid losses during market downtrends. In monthly issues, weekly updates and special bulletins, Carpenter tells subscribers exactly which SPDR sector ETFs to trade.
Historic results show the Cabot ETF Investing System outperforms the S&P 500 by an average of 10 percentage points a year with far less volatility.
“Over the years, countless subscribers have asked for a publication focused on ETFs. We think the Cabot ETF Investing System’s ease of use and strong track record will be very attractive to our audience,” said Cabot president and Chief Investment Strategist Timothy Lutts.
The strategy begins with a massive historical database that correlates economic data with stock movements, according to Carpenter. The model tells him what sectors have done following similar conditions in the past, and project which sectors are likely to do well following current economic conditions.
The System buys the favored sector ETFs, lets business dynamics and market forces do their work and accumulates the favored sectors’ extra gains. “The ETFs are held as long as the sectors are favored in the Model or until the proprietary market timing indicator, Cabot Tides, determines the market trend has turned down,” Carpenter explained.
Cabot ETF Investing System is being offered at the introductory price of $87 per year.
