Sell: FireEye (FEYE)

I’m finally running up the white flag on our residual position in FireEye (FEYE), especially as 1. other analysts sour on the name; 2. at least where Russia is concerned, a Trump presidency likely means LESS cyber warfare in some areas; and 3. the notion of a buyout of FEYE for these and other reasons becomes ever more questionable.
Analysts are even more broadly questioning just what companies might be needed going forward for an evolving set of cyber security threats. Besides FireEye, even a name like Palo Alto Networks is getting thumped; in that company’s case, because of disappointing quarterly results.
