CHE was recommended by Upside at $61.86 in Investment Digest issue 724, dated August 8, 2012.
“Chemed Corp. (CHE, $65) is being downgraded to Sell. The stock has slumped since reporting disappointing September-quarter results on Oct. 29. Per-share earnings were $1.28, versus the consensus of $1.35. Revenue was also below the consensus.
“The stock’s Quadrix Overall score has dropped to 72, down from 94 two weeks ago, reflecting a 17 in Earnings Estimates. While the shares seem modestly valued, we have lost some confidence in the company’s ability to meet consensus estimates. Chemed, first recommended as a Buy at $59.45 in August, was upgraded to a Best Buy later that month at $65.90. The stock should be sold.”
